Promoting Pupils’ Spirituality
|
As a Voluntary-Aided Church School we believe in developing the whole child, academically, emotionally and spiritually. In keeping with our school’s Vision, Mission and Values, we recognise that we are all created in God’s image and that we have a spiritual dimension to being. We nurture this through the aspirations we have to ‘be our best’ and through the passion we have for our children and each other to flourish, be happy and achieve our God-given potential. |

We define Spirituality at Goring CE Primary School as a reflective journey about how we can experience life. It is about how this shapes us to live our lives, knowing we are all unique and valued.
Spirituality teaches us to ask BIG questions, to explore and reflect upon our relationships, with ourselves, others and the world around us. It allows us to be aware of things bigger than ourselves.
Our aim is to teach our children to reflect spiritually and consider their own actions in different ways

To Look Up (with our Heads) We learn to look up with praise and gratefulness to the one who created us as special. We think and reflect upon our place in this wonderful world, acknowledging that we were created uniquely.
